Alot of people have trouble understanding the Holy War which God waged against the Canaanites in the Book of Joshua.  Towards developing a biblical theology of war, I wrote a paper on the Achan narrative, one of the most controversial passages in the Old Testament.  I decided to post this paper since it will relate to future classes on the 10 Commandments.  I hope you find it thought-provoking.
